All products from the Mountains of the Moon™ are now also certified fair trade!

In 2005 Mountains of the Moon™ went organic and by 2008 the last farmers changed from organic in conversion to fully organic according to EU and NOP.

Since the beginning of 2009 the whole project is also certified fair trade according to the Fair for Life standard. Since the beginning of the project all certification is conducted by IMO, Switzerland.

Having obtained this dual certification one of the major objective in setting up this project has been achieved – to produce high-quality vanilla and cocoa in harmony with nature in a way that is lasting and fair.
